| Our Warranty to You Driveway Design warrants that any defects in workmanship or in the materials supplied during the construction of the driveway, path, patio or similar domestic installation will be made good free of charge for a period of up to 5 Years from the completion date and subject to the under noted conditions:- 1. This Five Year Guarantee will only take effect once the contract has been completed to all parties' satisfaction and full payment of the contract price has been made. 2. This Guarantee does not extend to cover damage resulting from accident; misuse, neglect or staining caused by any substance whatsoever. 3. The company shall endeavour to make good any remedial work in a colour, pattern or finish as specified in the original contract. However, no assurance can be given as to an exact recreation as this would depend upon availability of materials. 4. Movement, expansion or contraction of subsoil or base due to changes in temperature, water content and tree root activity are outside the control of the company and no guarantee can therefore be given should any damage occur due to these or related factors. 5. For the avoidance of doubt this guarantee only covers sink-age of any blocks or edgings provided such settlement is in excess of 10mm under a 3M straight edge and 2mm between adjacent units, as stated in table B3 Surface Regulations in BS7533. 6. All concrete products, may in their early life, appear to lose some intensity of colour and experience a milky stain on the face of the product, this is efflorescence staining. It is a temporary phenomenon and in no way is detrimental to the performance of the material and responsibility cannot be accepted for its occurrence. 7. In the event of a defect arising which may be covered by this Guarantee, full written details must be submitted to the company within 7 days of discovery of the alleged defect.
