It gives a matt finish, stops the growth of weeds and moss therefore extending the life of the drive. We can also clean an existing drive to bring back it's new look then sealing to preserving it for years to come. Before the cleaning and sealing process After the cleaning and sealing process The sealant Driveway Design use is called RESIBLOCK '22'. It is a matt paving sealant and its function is to penetrate jointing sand to bind the particles together and to the sides of the pavers. RESIBLOCK '22's penetration comes about by solvent evaporation, and polymerisation is created by the atmospheric and residual moisture effecting the cure. The resulting effect is an in-situ bond and stabilisation of the pavement that retains its normal flexural properties. It's main features are: R educes surface porosity thereby resisting penetration of stains E nhances the appearance of most forms of paving. S trengthens and maintains the performance of pavements by retaining sand in joints. I nhibits weed growth between joints. B inds jointing sand particles together and to sides of payers to prevent sand erosion. L ong term protection assured. O ils and fuels prevented from accumulating in bedding sand on driveways C ontamination of groundwater avoided by reduced infiltration of contaminants.
